Library is Now Open

Mar. 02, 2021

On Tuesday March 2, the library opened and is allowing patrons access to the collection.  The library board and librarian have been hard at work to make sure that we have procedures to protect both staff and patrons.

Patrons need to be aware that there are new steps in place to be able to access the library.

  • Masks are mandatory
  • Everyone must sanitize their hand before entering.
  • Please do not enter library if you are sick or ill, you will be asked to leave
  • There will be no public washrooms available.
  • Maximum of 5 people in library at one time
  • There will be a time limit to how long patrons may stay in the library
  • Children under the age of 8 need to be within arms reach of their parents
  • Physical distancing will be adhered to
  • 2 computers are available, please contact the library to book a time

Curb-side pickup is available for those who wish to access this service.  Please contact the library in advance so items can be ready and a pickup time can be arranged.  If you are unsure of what items you would like, please browse the catalogue for ideas, or we can recommend some authors depending on what genre you read.  We can still place a hold for items not located in our collection, however we cannot guarantee a delivery date.

Just a reminder that all materials returned to the library will be quarantined and remain on your card for a week before being checked in.  Any fines that show up on your account during this time will be waived.

The library hours are Tuesdays 10 am to 6 pm, Thursdays 1 pm to 8 pm and Saturdays 12 pm to 5 pm.
